About
LeadHERs: Life Lessons from African Women is a large-scale editorial illustration and publishing collaboration created in partnership with Facebook. For this project, I was commissioned to create the illustrations and visual design for the West African features, collaborating alongside leading artists from North, South, and East Africa.
The book brings together inspiring personal stories from African women who have navigated challenges, leadership, and success across different industries. Each chapter centres on a lived experience and the lessons learned along the way, translated into expressive and culturally resonant visual storytelling.
With over 5,000 printed copies distributed across 15 countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Liberia, and Senegal, the project demonstrates both continental creative collaboration and large-scale cultural impact.
